LISTENING AND SPEAKING 3 - Ms Lien
The course provides teaching and learning of the necessary language for interaction and discussion in authentic contexts. It offers exploration of high-interest subject areas such as: health science; history/archaeology; anthropology/sociology, earth science; and economics, using content from National Geographic publications. The course focuses on the effective use of essential, high-frequency vocabulary, reviews important grammatical structures, and provides for the practice of listening and speaking skills which are essential for academic and social settings. The course aims to increase learners’ visual literacy and develop critical thinking, in order to enhance academic success.
