This course helps pre-service teachers understand key concepts, techniques and procedures of teaching language components and skills in English. Major language aspects discussed include teaching pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. A large part of the course covers strategies and steps for teaching 4 macro language skills. Teaching aids, lesson planning and class management are also in the syllabus.
