What are the key concepts you have learnt today?:

Key concepts I have learnt:

-Types of variables (dependent variable vs indepedent variable, extraneous variable, control variable).

-Types of sampling (probability sampling, non-probability sampling, random sampling, systematic sampling, cluster sampling, snowball sampling, quota sampling; simple ample, systematic sample, stratified sample.

-Mean, Mode, Median, variances, standard deviation

What do you like and not like about today's session?:

What I like most is the way teacher gave explanations and practical examples. He also explained difficullt terminologies by translated it into L1.

However, class time is not long enough to deeply go to the lesson ( the lesson go quite fast).

What difficulties did you have during the session?:

-Some speialist words hard to understand.

-More abstract concepts so it is challenging to relate them to reality. Some samples is confusing and hard to distinguish with each other.

How can you apply what you have learnt today to your future teaching or learning?:

After the lesson, I gain more knowledge about some useful ways to choose the most appropriate types of sampling to apply into my research in the future. Moreover, I can enhance experience in calculating values with mean, mode, median, variances and standard deviation wich exist in SPSS and Excel. So, it is benefical to easily access to the SPSS and Excel softwares to describe my research.
