Attending to the message is perhaps the most important part of the receiving stage because sounds have no meaning to them until they're given context. During this stage, try to avoid thinking about other things while the speaker is talking to ensure no information is missed

I think the most important stage of a listening lesson is pre-listening activities.  Because this stage helps students to generate interest, build confidence and to facilitate comprehension.  This stage helps us to Set the context, Generate interest, activate current knowledge - what do you know about…?,  acquire knowledge, activate vocabulary / language , predict content and  give your students plenty of time to read and understand the main listening comprehension tasks, you allow them to get some idea of the content of the listening. They may even try to predict answers before listening.

- ss are lack of background of the topic/theme

- pour new words

I think the pre-listening is the most important because in this stage, students will know the topic of the listening, they can imagine what will happen in the listening and the vocabulary which relate to the listening.

This state relates to the content and the vocabulary of the listening, so students have difficulties in visualize what will happen in the text and don't know the words relating.

• What are some concrete examples that support your reasons for your choice?:

EX: the topic is about the weather. the students must visualize what is about the weather.

the words: cool, cold, hot.......

If they know the words and the contents of the listening, they will listen clearly.

I think the pre-listening is the most important because in this stage, students will know the topic of the listening, they can imagine what will happen in the listening and the vocabulary which relate to the listening.

This state relates to the content and the vocabulary of the listening lesson, so students have difficulties in visualize what will happen in the text and don't know what the words relate.

EX: the topic is about the school. the students must visualize what is about the school.

If they know the words and the contents of the listening, they will listen clearly.

I think , Pre-listening is the most important  stage of a listening lesson. Because in this stage, students are provided with vocabulary, structures and they also take part in prediction activities relating to the content of the listening passage that they are going to listen in while- listening and post- listening. so they are able to improve their listening skill better.

• In your experience, how does this stage relate to problems you may have observed that your students have with listening?:

In my experience, this stage relates to problems that my students have with listening very much.

Example: topic: the party

- T provides Students with some things relating  to the party:

+ Whose party is it ?

+ What is the purpose of the party ?

+ Where is the party held ?

+ When is the party held ?

+ What do people do at the party ?

+ How do people feel about the party ?

I think Pre-listening is the most important  stage of a listening lesson. Because in this stage, students are provided with vocabulary, structures and they also take part in prediction activities relating to the content of the listening passage that they are going to listen in while- listening and post- listening. this stage also motivate ss to participate in the lesson better

• In your experience, how does this stage relate to problems you may have observed that your students have with listening?:

- poor of vocabulary , so ss can't understand the content of the text/dialogue

- ss don't  know about the topic/theme they are going to listen . They can't have correct listening

Topic : A missing little girl 

- pictures of clothes

- words of appearance :  height / hair /   ...

I think the pre-listening is the most important because in this stage, students will know the topic of the listening, they can imagine what will happen in the listening and the vocabulary which relate to the listening.

In my experience, Students are lack of back ground of the topic.

- Pour newwords.
