when i ask my students to play role, it means i give them opportunity to practice communicative language in a natural way. This enhances students' confidence. Moreover, this activity attract other students' attention and create possitive atmosphere. If i would like Ss to work in group, this activity makes sure that all the members will act out. So low participation is eliminated. And role play also vary spoken language. Ss can use different language in various situations.
