Role play is a speaking activity when student puts herself into someone else's shoes or when student stay in someone else's shoes but put herself into an imaginary situation. This activity is used effectively to practice students' speaking. Depending on the lesson's content, story, to decide time, the number of characters for each performance. This activity is fun and motivating, quieter students get the chance to express themselves in a more forthright way.

Prepare for success: role play is posible at elementary levels providing the students have been throughly prepared. Try to think through the language the students will need and make sure this language has been presented. Students may need the extra support of having the language on the board. Realia and props can really bring a role play to life. Teacher tries to keep the roles students play as real to life as posible. After role play, students can get alot of speaking skill, practise words, phrases, and grammar and they have a chance to make studying enviroment friendly and comfortable.
