I agree with Elon Musk more when he talks about AI and how we should be careful about the long-term risks that come with its growth. While Chomsky's doubts bring to light some major problems with current AI, Musk's worries about the possible rise of superintelligence hit home for me. Because AI is improving so quickly, it's important to think about the social issues and make sure there are controls in place. I think that positive steps need to be taken to handle the risks and guide AI growth in a way that puts people's safety and well-being first.
