What are the key concepts you have learnt today?:

Different types of sampling and variables.

What do you like and not like about today's session?:

Like: very helpful knowledge

Dislike: some seems a little bit too vague to characterize.

What difficulties did you have during the session?:

Memorize all the necessary information.

Try to apply it to answer some of the questions.

How can you apply what you have learnt today to your future teaching or learning?:

Design a specific research that meets up the purposes as well as proves to be effective in gaining insights in students' learning habits.

What are the key concepts you have learnt today?:

I've learnt many new concepts today. Some of them are dependent variable, independent variable and snowball sampling.

What do you like and not like about today's session?:

Like: new knowledge about conducting surveys

Dislike: some piece of information may be confusing

What difficulties did you have during the session?:

remember and clarify all the new terms and knowledge and put them into practice

How can you apply what you have learnt today to your future teaching or learning?:

I can apply it to conduct surveys students' learning needs or I know how to do research if I want to have higher education.

What are the key concepts you have learnt today?:

Types of sampling

Types of variables

Mean, mode, median, variance, standard diviation

What do you like and not like about today's session?:

I think there are too many reading materials in topic 4, yet they are not as concise and easy to grasp as the Lecture Notes.

What difficulties did you have during the session?:

I was rather baffled by the concepts of variance and standard diviation for I wanted to understand their core. Later, I find it unnecessary to do so as the math formula is what requires my attention.

How can you apply what you have learnt today to your future teaching or learning?:

I think the types of sampling are the most useful information in today's lesson. Later on, when I do a research thesis, I can embark on the thesis with prior knowledge about how to gather and analyze data.

What are the key concepts you have learnt today?:

Kinds of sampling and variables

What do you like and not like about today's session?:

I like new helpful terms and practical knowledge of the session. However, some are quite hard for me to internalize.

What difficulties did you have during the session?:

Apply what i have learned to my practice

How can you apply what you have learnt today to your future teaching or learning?:

Teachers should do a research that can help achieve the students' learning habit, so they can have the most appropriate method for each class

What are the key concepts you have learnt today?:

several concepts useful for future statistic course like: mean, mode, median, kinds of sampling, DV and IV, and so on

What do you like and not like about today's session?:

dislike: a huge numbers of concept to remember

What difficulties did you have during the session?:

understanding its deeper meaning and applying it into daily life (with a quiz to test my grapping)

How can you apply what you have learnt today to your future teaching or learning?:

What are the key concepts you have learnt today?:

dependent variable, Indepedent variable

random sampling, systematic sampling, cluster sampling, snowball sampling, quota sampling

true experimental designs, quasi-experimental designs

What do you like and not like about today's session?:

I like the hands-on activity with depensent and independent vaiables.

the instruction about the scales is a bit hard to understand.

What difficulties did you have during the session?:

The scales are a little bit confusing for me.

the difference between moderate and intervening variables

How can you apply what you have learnt today to your future teaching or learning?:

I know what kind of sampling to choose when doing resaerch.

What are the key concepts you have learnt today?:

 samples

What do you like and not like about today's session?:

Like: very helpful knowledge

Dislike: some seems a little bit too vague to characterize.

What difficulties did you have during the session?:

How can you apply what you have learnt today to your future teaching or learning?:

What are the key concepts you have learnt today?:

Sampling, Variables, Measurement Scales, Mean, Mode, Median

What do you like and not like about today's session?:

I really like to calculate the Mean, Mode, Median because it's realistic.

I am overwhelmed by the tremendous knowledge of sampling. It's hard to understand.

What difficulties did you have during the session?:

I have some trouble with the Quiz of Mean, Mode, and Median. But I know how to calculate it.

How can you apply what you have learnt today to your future teaching or learning?:

I know how to conduct a sampling procedure. With this advantage, I can do a research about my quality of teaching.

What are the key concepts you have learnt today?:

- Sampling strategies: probability and non-probability sampling and their own techniques.

- Probability sampling: simle random, systematic, stratified and cluster sampling.

- Non-probability sampling: (3 main) convenience, purposive and snowball sampling

- Mean, mode, median

- Variables

What do you like and not like about today's session?:

(+) interesting and useful theories

(-) too much information to take in

apply theories to do the calculating

What difficulties did you have during the session?:

memorize all the lesson

How can you apply what you have learnt today to your future teaching or learning?:

apply to conducting researches in higher education or work
